Moss & Menu is a small beta cleaning helper. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide, including your email address, display name, optional pronouns, home type, room count, room names, cleaning preferences, support notes, accessibility or household notes, saved task lists, feedback, and optional comments.

We also collect basic technical information needed to run the service, including login-token request time, IP address, user agent, session records, and routine events such as routine started, completed, exited, and feedback submitted.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide magic-link sign-in, keep your profile and saved cleaning lists available, limit early beta access, understand whether the beta is working, respond to support messages, improve Moss & Menu, prevent abuse, and protect the service.

Cookies And Sessions

Moss & Menu uses an essential session cookie named moss_session. It lets you stay signed in after using a magic link and can last up to 30 days unless you log out sooner. We do not currently use advertising cookies.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use service providers, including hosting, email, security, and infrastructure providers, to operate Moss & Menu.

Retention

We keep account, profile, task-list, session, and feedback information while your beta account is active or while needed to run, secure, improve, or legally protect the service. You can ask us to delete your account information.

Your Choices

You can avoid optional profile fields, edit your home profile in the app, log out, or ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing feedback@mossandmenu.com.

Children

Moss & Menu is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service if you are under 13. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

Location And Legal Rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to know, access, correct, delete, or limit use of certain information. Contact us and we will respond as required by applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for a small beta product, including hashed login and session tokens. No online service can promise perfect security.
